Chamber Ambassador Committee

The mission of the Ambassadors is to act as a catalyst between the Chamber, its functions, members and the general public, to promote and develop new membership and to create an acceptable atmosphere in which business can effectively network.

Ambassadors act as Chamber volunteer representatives who assist Chamber staff at all Chamber programs and events. Annually, this committee recognizes a local firm or organization for improvements to their building facade or new construction, thereby enhancing the image of their organization and the community. This award is called the Brick Award. Any Chamber member can be nominated for this award given every year at the Annual Meeting in January.

The Ambassadors plan the annual Restaurant Rally held in March to promote local Chamber restaurants. They also assist in ribbon cutting ceremonies for all grand openings, new businesses, re-openings, ground breakings and renovations.

The Ambassador Committee meets at noon on the first Friday of every month at the Allegiance Health Specialty Center.
