Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Leadership Academy Graduates

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce graduated 16 students from its 2009-2010 Leadership Academy program.

Bella Notte hosted the graduation and CP Federal Credit Union, Consumers Energy and Spring Arbor University sponsored the academy.

Dr. Fred Slete, DDS was awarded the 2010 Outstanding Past Graduate for his commitment to providing leadership opportunities to Jackson’s youth and for being engaged and passionate about the Jackson community. Dr. Slete owns his own business in Jackson and serves on many service organizations.

The Chamber keeps the graduates engaged in developing their skills and the community as a whole through the Leadership Academy Alumni Association. The next meeting will be June 3, 2010 at 7:30 am at the Chamber office.

The 2010-2011 Leadership Academy will start on September 1, 2010. Please contact Angela
Machnik if you are interested in having someone participate.
