Pam continues to support the Local Small Businesses through her Facebook group and videos. Her enthusiasm for this community is contagious!!

Jen serves as the Jackson College Library Student Engagement Coordinator. In her work, Jen connects students in person and online to all of the resources that they need to be successful in the classroom. She also goes out of her way to know community resources that students can be connected to in times of need. She designs innovative, inclusive and engaging programs for students. They go to her as a trusted resource. Jen is also involved in numerous professional organizations and is a member of the Jackson Chorale.

Diane has dedicated herself to developing an entrepreneur spirit in the youth of our community for decades. Additionally, she works endlessly to create community events, assist in essential economic development projects (such as the MLK Corridor), and contribute her expertise as a Master Gardener to make our community more vibrant for all.

Tashia has committed herself to serving our underserved. By driving the efforts behind Residents in Action, she is ensuring that those without homes in our community are warm, fed, and cared for.

Jen has been working for K 105.3 for few years and puts her heart and soul into her job as the morning host. When Scott Clow her former co host left, Jenny handled and showed up for her work solely and didn’t miss a beat. She had a bunch of on site events at same time. All the while grieving the passing of her dear mother. I feel Jenny is professional and a whole lot of fun and is a light to this community!

Kim has been the Attendance, Truancy & Special Populations Coordinator for Jackson County ISD for just over a year now and in that short time she has passionately served and supported the youth and families of Jackson to remove barriers to student learning. She shows up every day with compassion, insight and a solution oriented mindset. Kim also works collaboratively across fields to make a positive impact. Both in and out of work Kim lives with heart and vision— Jackson is a better place because of Kim and I am a better person knowing her.

Mobility Navigator – Rides to Wellness, Jackson Transportation Authority

Sarah Richmond is a respected leader not only within Dawn Foods, but also in the Jackson community, where she was born and raised. She has been with Dawn for more than 25 years, and the Director of Dawn Foods’ Corporate Giving Program for more than 15 years. Her recent community involvement includes serving on multiple local boards, such as The YMCA Capital Campaign, the Jackson Community Foundation, and the Anchor Initiative. She was the recipient of the Athena award in 2020. She helped start the Laundry Room Program at Jackson Public Schools (bringing washer and dryer machines into the schools). She is currently driving Dawn’s new partnership with a nonprofit organization (For Goodness Cakes) to launch a Jackson Chapter in the summer that will bring birthday and graduation cakes to kids and young adults facing adversity in our community. She is a wife, and a mother to four amazing children and two dogs. Sarah’s dedication to her community is undeniable and Team Dawn is so excited to celebrate her and all her accomplishments.

Felisa Stockwell leads with passion, thoughtfulness, tenacity, and an empowering mindset that has a profound impact on the entire Dawn organization. As Vice President of Global People & Culture, she leads a diverse team focused on elevating Team Dawn and improving the team member experience. Her efforts to impact the organization include guiding the launch of a global Women’s Leadership Development Program (WLDP) and leading Dawn’s DE&I (diversity, equity, and inclusion) commitments to maintain an equitable and inclusive workplace. As we continue to celebrate the achievements of our Team Members, Team Dawn is excited to recognize Felisa for all her incredible accomplishments.

Kelly’s smile is the first thing about her that you will notice. Behind that smile is a beautiful soul who cares about everyone. She works hard in her Chamber of Commerce job and she works just as hard at home. She loves her family and her four footed or two footed family members. She gives freely and loves deeply. She is always there for her niblings and is loving being the foster mom to two beautiful little girls.

Danyelle is the hardest working mom I know. She tackles every job with a smile. She’s a great mom to 5 kids and a furry kid. She was a rock to her daughter who went thru cancer this past year. Spending many hours just being with her in chemo treatments. She is amazing and loving and does her best to see the people she loves are happy.

Kelsey is the best mom. She is amazing with her 3 kids. Those boys love her. She is a swim coach and enjoys teaching kids to swim. She is a lovely person with a big heart for her four legged kids also. She is a super star!

She works very hard for the Jackson community, by creating charity events and donating her time to the benefit of Jackson citizens. She has volunteered at any Jackson charity events as a helper or organizer. Whatever way she can help. She has been involved with Relay for Life for many years raising a lot money.

She is a leader in the community. She is an outstanding mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and role model to everyone around her.

She is an amazing businesswoman, wife, mother, aunt and role model to everyone around her.

Meaghan or Megs is truly a woman of being recognized on a Wall of Fame. Between work, kids, community, she conquers it all!

Amber has been the chair of the board at MyPlace for almost 3 years. She recently began a new social enterprise, MyBakery. MyBakery is a trauma informed employer that not only teaches job skills and baking to the MyPlace residents, it will also provide a fu d stream, overtime, to MyPlace. She has spent untold hours partnering with the St John’s church for use of their commercial kitchen, becoming certified and licensing the bakery. She has purchased supplies and product, recruited a volunteer head baker, interviewed and employed MyPlace residents, and partnered with others at Dawn to develop a business plan, rice points and other necessary operations for starting up a bakery. Her attention to detail and business acumen will love this social enterprise forward.

Olivia will continue to grow and shine with her positive attitude and work ethic. She is a true example of a successful woman in today’s society.

Amanda is an incredible role model for the Jackson Chamber team, always pushing them to strive for success and reach their goals. She is a great listener and always provides valuable advice and guidance. Amanda is a compassionate and caring leader who is always willing to help her team and members of the Jackson Chamber. She is constantly looking for ways to better the community and make it a better place to live. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and is always looking for ways to empower and uplift them. She strives to be the best version of herself and is an inspiration to all who know her.

Haley radiates kindness in every room she walks into. She touches each person she interacts with, letting them know they have a friend each time they walk away from a conversation with her.

Rachel embodies grace and friendliness with each person she meets. She’s always eager to put her creativity to work and works with such passion and enthusiasm. She makes her workplace fun for all of those around her.

Lindsey is always putting her best foot forward, a quick learner and easy to talk to. She keeps it real while always being respectful to those around her. Lindsey is big on family values and it shows.

For 30 years Danielle has served Jackson and Ingham counties. Her passion for dental health and patient care are stellar. Thank you Danielle for truly caring for smiles and your positive attitude.

Paula has an incredible reputation in the insurance industry as a rep that ensures the needs of her clients are met. She donates her time to help community members better understand their best options for insurance, as well as gives her resources and time to non-profits and organizations in the area.
