“The Public Policy and Advocacy Committee monitors on-going governmental operations affecting businesses of all sizes and from all industries at the local, state and Federal level, identifying issues of importance which are suitable for review. They gather and evaluate information, and recommend courses of action to the Chamber Board, with creating and ensuring a thriving business community at the forefront of all they do.”
The Chamber’s Public Policy and Advocacy Committee monitors activities in state and local government affairs to safeguard business interests regarding laws, regulations and other controls that affect business operations. The Legislative Committee works closely with local elected officials and the business community to put forth solutions for road funding and the lead line replacement mandate.
